About Us
We’re a British family living in Germany, but our hearts have long been in France. Since 2005, we’ve cherished our own maison secondaire in this peaceful, picturesque corner of the country. Over the years, our love for the French way of life grew into something more – in 2018, we began restoring and sharing holiday homes so that others could enjoy the same magic of village life that first captured us.
Our first two holiday gîtes are set in the tranquil countryside near the charming village of Hercé, within easy reach of the bustling market town of Gorron and surrounded by rolling fields, walking paths, and traditional French charm.
In 2021, we discovered our dream property here in St Fraimbault – just a short stroll from the village centre, with a beautiful garden, friendly neighbours, and everything you need close at hand.
Our aim is simple: to give you a genuine “home for your holiday” – fully equipped, warmly welcoming, and perfectly placed for you to relax, explore, and make memories that last long after your trip ends.

The artwork featured on this site is inspired by the golden age of travel posters, when railways and steamships from the early 1900s through the 1960s invited adventurers to explore the world.
I also draw influence from the style and colour palettes of renowned French painters, whose work captures the beauty and atmosphere of France in timeless ways.
Each image has been created under my own inspiration, guidance, and direction, with the support of AI tools to help bring these visions to life.
The result is a collection that blends classic artistry with modern creativity, celebrating both tradition and innovation.
We sometimes get a little help from AI to create and update our content – blending technology with our own local knowledge and passion for France.
