WhatsApp Business Policy for Aimigo and Mayenne Holiday

At Aimigo and Mayenne Holidays, we are committed to providing a high-quality and respectful experience for our customers on WhatsApp. This policy outlines our guidelines and practices for using WhatsApp Business Services in compliance with WhatsApp's Business Messaging Policy. By using our WhatsApp Business Services, you agree to adhere to the following rules:
Create a Quality Experience:
a. Customer Support Information:
Aimigo and Mayenne Holidays will maintain an accurate and up-to-date WhatsApp Business profile that includes customer support contact information. This will include at least one of the following: email address, website address, and/or telephone number. We will never impersonate another business or deceive our customers about the nature of our business.
b. Obtaining Consent:
We will only contact people on WhatsApp if they have willingly provided us with their mobile phone number and explicitly agreed to be contacted by us via WhatsApp. We will not spam, deceive, defraud, mislead, or surprise people with our communications.
c. Respecting Opt-Out Requests:
We will always respect and comply with any requests from users to block, discontinue, or opt-out of receiving communications from us on WhatsApp. If a user requests to be removed from our contacts list, we will promptly do so.
WhatsApp Business Solution (WhatsApp Business API) Specific Terms:
a. Opt-In:
Before sending any WhatsApp message to a person, we will obtain opt-in permission from them, confirming their desire to receive future messages from Aimigo and Mayenne Holidays on WhatsApp. Our opt-in messages will clearly state that the person is subscribing to receive messages from Aimigo and Mayenne Holidays and will explicitly mention our business name.
b. Acceptable Message Types:
We will only initiate conversations using approved Message Templates as defined in WhatsApp's documentation. Any Message Template used will comply with WhatsApp's terms and policies and will be used only for its designated purpose. We understand that WhatsApp has the right to review, approve, and reject any Message Template at any time.
c. User-Initiated Conversations:
When users initiate conversations with us on WhatsApp, we will reply to their messages within the 24-hour window without using a Message Template. Standard pricing will apply for these user-initiated conversations. Outside the 24-hour window, we will only send messages via approved Message Templates and will be subject to the business-initiated conversation rate.
d. Automation and Escalation Paths:
During the 24-hour window, we may use automation to respond to user messages. However, we will also provide clear and direct escalation paths, such as in-chat human agent transfer, phone number, email, web support (on our website), and in-store visits, to offer timely and personalized support to users.
Protect Data & Comply with Law:
a. Data Collection and Sharing:
We will secure all necessary notices, permissions, and consents required to collect, use, and share people's content and information on WhatsApp. This includes maintaining a published privacy policy and complying with all applicable laws concerning data protection and privacy.
b. Prohibited Information Sharing:
We will not use any data obtained from WhatsApp about a person for any purpose other than to support messaging with that person. We will not share or request sensitive information such as full-length payment card numbers, financial account numbers, personal ID card numbers, or any other sensitive identifiers.
Prohibited Organizations & Use:
a. Compliance with Prohibitions:
Aimigo and Mayenne Holidays acknowledges and agrees to comply with WhatsApp's policies regarding the use of its Business Services. We will not engage in or facilitate any activities related to terrorism, organized criminal activity, or any other illegal or harmful actions.
b. Prohibited Goods and Services:
We will not use WhatsApp Business Services to operate, buy, sell, or promote illegal products or services. This includes but is not limited to firearms, alcohol, drugs, medical and healthcare products, endangered species, hazardous goods, real, virtual, or fake currency, adult products and services, dating services, and other restricted goods and services.
Non-Discrimination and Offensive Content:
a. Non-Discrimination:
Aimigo and Mayenne Holidays will not wrongfully discriminate or suggest any preference for or against people based on personal characteristics such as race, ethnicity, colour, national origin, citizenship, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, family status, marital status, disability, or medical or genetic condition. We will comply with all applicable laws prohibiting discrimination.
b. Offensive Content:
We will not include offensive content, sexually explicit materials, or nudity in our messages. We will ensure that our communications are respectful and appropriate.
Compliance with WhatsApp Policies:
Aimigo and Mayenne Holidays acknowledges that WhatsApp may update its Business Messaging Policy without notice. We will review and comply with any changes to the policy. If we violate WhatsApp's terms or policies, we understand that our access to WhatsApp Business Services may be limited or removed.
By implementing and adhering to this WhatsApp Business Policy, Aimigo and Mayenne Holidays aims to provide a positive, transparent, and valuable experience for our customers on WhatsApp. We will continually review and improve our practices to ensure compliance with WhatsApp's guidelines and enhance the quality of our interactions with users.
